Interior environments should be healthy, productive, and uplifting. I want my work to have a positive impact on my community and the people who inhabit the buildings I work on.
Thorough research and intelligent design choices can provide inspiring spaces that are highly functional as well as sustainable. I think design is a way to make things better by making better things.
SKILLS

-
Space PLanning
-
Construction Documents
Space planning can be one of the most frustrating parts of designing a building, but I actually enjoy the challenge - it's like a big 3D puzzle.
I'm well-versed in ADA requirements and clearances, as well as the needs of good circulation and spatial usage.

Software:
-
AutoCAD
-
Revit

-
3D Modeling
-
Renderings
-
Animations
This is the fun part - I love to build stuff. I can make a 3D model of the space and quickly generate working screenshots like the one above, or renderings like those in the Gallery section below.
I can also provide exterior animations such as the example in the Welcome section, as well as walk-through animations within the space.
Software:
-
SketchUp
-
Podium

-
FFE Packages
Choosing the appropriate furniture, fixtures, and equipment for your project can be a complicated and time-consuming job.

I can specify these items, identify alternates, acquire samples, make boards or binders, and document all code compliance for the health, safety, and welfare of the occupants.
I can also help you with lighting and acoustics, as well as ergonomics and aesthetics.
Software:
-
Adobe Photoshop
-
Adobe InDesign
-
Microsoft Office Suite
PROJECTS
ABOUT
Hello and welcome to my website!

I'm an NCIDQ certified interior designer with a strong interest in efficient, sustainable spaces that improve the inhabitants' productivity and quality of life.
My first career was in the video game industry, where I was a senior world artist for a very popular MMORPG. But I wanted to build things in the real world, so I went back to school and got my Master's degree in Interior Design. I began work in my new field with some exciting projects in the government / military sector.
Here in Colorado Springs I have diversified, working with architecture firms and contractors on a variety of projects. I'm also an instructor at Pikes Peak State College, where I teach multiple courses in both the Interior Design and Architectural Engineering & Construction Management departments.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you come back soon!
